Implementation
Magento provided a perfect basis with its standard range of functions. In addition, the extensive special requirements of Norden Wohndesign for the home design store could be implemented very well individually due to the excellent expandability of Magento.
Design
As a provider of a store for design articles, Norden Wohndesign's demands on the design of the store itself are naturally particularly high. The creation of an individual shopping experience has the highest priority and therefore the decision was made to rely on a very individual design for the layout of the store. We therefore did not rely on existing templates, but developed a completely custom template.
Interfaces
A particular challenge for this online pure player was connecting the store system to various other systems. A separate interface was developed for the ERP system actindo, and many other systems were also connected via extensions or customizations, such as eBay, Amazon (including Amazon prime), DHL, Mailchimp, SoQuero, DataWarehouse, FactFinder, econda, etc.

Result
Right from its first launch in 2010, the online store impressed with its special offers for customers and its good user experience. In addition, Magento provided a good basis from the very beginning to be equipped for the new and growing requirements in e-commerce.
